A distinguished RAF wing commander turned author is to visit Knaresborough this weekend to sign copies of his new book about real-life experiences in the Falklands War.

Nick also flew from Ascension Island during the Falklands War of 1982 and was involved in the Black Buck Vulcan bombing mission on the Nimrod which helped link up the Vulcan with its Victor tankers on the way back to Ascension Island.
